I always thought 996's were immune from 'corsa' mods but sadly not. What a dogs dinner, but at £21.5k, there's life in the old 996 range yet. Had me fooled, I thought what a cheap GT3 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1999-Porsche-...ewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item1c0e950ef6 :?: SEE 6 POSTS DOWN FOR THE PICS

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

To be honest, apart from the petrol flap, I think it looks ok.
Not keen - Dogs Dinner :yuk:
"Chipped and re-mapped" Is that like belt and braces? Utterly shocking. If only the owner had spent 1% of his "investment" money on leather food or 100% of it on professional help. From a distance those wheels look like the shockers Porsche fit to the 997.1TT. Close up, it appears they are even more vulgar fakes. I just hope that sale price doesn't reflect the dealer's stand in value. If he hasn't got 10-12k in that, he'll do his conkers
I so wish people wouldnt do this stuff to their cars. It gives the rest of us a bad name. Its awfull (particularly the Rippspeed exterior carbonesque pack...probably nicked off a Saxo) Each to his own I know...............but...
I like the rear LED's either a mad professor or a car with bits upgraded on the side when they fell off after various shunts, so must be the new polar express
:yuk: The "carbon" looks like that Fablon-type stick-on stuff. Pretty hopeful price for a '99 car with 92K miles on it too. Also, isn't that a steering wheel off a tip?
Clearly the previous owner was a Chav, who probably sold his family collection of soverign rings to cover the cost of letting a Halfords cleaner loose on it!!! Result = Denied!!!
Someone ought to buy it and return it to stock.

Vile. The price is a joke.
It looks like a (poor) Ruf replica wheel to me. Just awful, IMO.
Fablon, more like "pleblon" Anyway, for the benefit of Sundeep, I have more LED info ... I'm actually warming to them :cap: http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatal...email&utm_campaign=January10_Newsletter#a8002 Plus Porscheshop are offering 2.5% discount with code: JAN2010CUST
That's excellent! It's totally convinced me to never consider rear windows tints! I think the 996 can benefit from ultra-minor mods, but to change something so beautiful in such a great way can only lead to horror...
WTF? I have to admit though, I do like the rear leds.
