I found an intake manifold from a 996.2 x51, do you guys think this upgrade would produce any meaningful power? My car is a 3.6L and has a stock non X51 motor. In the long term I want to slowly get the parts for a x51 together but the reality of it is that i may not get more than intake plenum, manifold, exhaust, oil pan, third radiator, and maybe an ECU tune. Would there be any other upgrades worth doing at the same time? I read there was a x51 retrofit kit but I cant find any vendors for it, are they still being sold?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm pretty sure the X-51 power come's more from re-worked (extra porting) heads if I recall. I read it on the internet somewhere so take it with a grain of salt. I would ask Porschetec that question. Personally, I'd save all that extra mod money up for a proper rebuild in the future!
good point, I might just leave it alone.
