The car really is quite versatile, considering the size. My younger son walked straight to my older son's football scrimmage on Friday night after practice (the scrimmage was across the street from where they practice). When it was time to go home, his choice was the back seat of the 996, or waiting for his brother to shower and then riding home with him. He chose the back seat. He is 6'1". My wife, who was in the passenger's side front seat, is 5'11"! Sure, they were both crammed in there, but fortunately the ride is only about 2 miles. We also had two folding chairs and two umbrellas in the other back seat. Anything more than a few miles would have been tough, but I am still impressed that we could pull this off. There aren't too many true sports cars that can pull that off!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

PICS or it never happened hahaha - great story
I'm 6'2", 200lbs. and could fit in the back of the 996 I had. Once, I picked up my married friends who came in from West Palm and their 2 pieces of luggage. He too, is 6'2" and around 195lbs. and his luggage fit in the back seat with him while his wifes fit in the front trunk. We were tight but ok and manageable.
i've had 5 people in the car. Yeah. Amazing. I was scooted up to the point where I could barely drive the car, and the 4 remaining people were girls so they were tinier, but at least I had that option. I mean, you don't want to leave 4 girls standing at the kerb. One more in the plus bank over the boxster.
A short instructional video of how to enter and exit the back seat would be nice
Last weekend I had four adults in mine, it was taco night at the local watering hole.

again.... PICS or it never happened
I'm envisioning lots of people climbing out of a 996 all made up like clowns. Oh, and of course:
So if I get this right, 1 driver 4 girls and 4 seats. The riddle of the day is where was the 4th girl sitting?
I'd like to see those pics... much more entertaining than watching my family pile out the door...

Let's just say that shifting was difficult

The first time I had a girl in the back seat of the 996 I poked her in the eye (when turning around to reverse!). I have entertained the idea of putting a woman in the front trunk, however to date I've managed to avoid this eventuality. It's good to know what's possible though, thanks Cory!
