Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just discovered that the right side drain on my 03 (LHD) was clogged and so, I’ve got a wet carpet on that side. Near as I can tell, there are no electronics under the seat on that side. Can someone confirm that, please? Left side (immobilizer, etc) was not clogged and the carpet there is bone dry (whew!). Many thanks,

POST 2Original post

The electronics under your passenger side seat should be part of the seat (memory seat/adjustment/seat belt detection/connections for heating). No modules on the floor.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks! It is interesting that there wasn’t much in the drain, but it was enough to cause it to back up.

POST 4Original post

….an aftermarket, waterproof box that you can install around the immobilizer under the driver’s seat. It’s good peace of mind. I installed one. Google it.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
