Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

The front of Section G (Highway 1) of todays LA Times carries the above captioned article by Dan Neil with a huge picture of Cayman. Dan had the car for a week. My favorite quote is: 'I am flummoxed as to why anyone would spend an extra $11,000 (or more likely, a lot more) on a 911 when the exotically fast-backed Cayman S is nearly as fast in a straight line and immensely more fun in a crooked one.' Read it and enjoy. JHellow

I had to look it up /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/regular_smile.gif flummox verb {T} INFORMAL to confuse someone so much that they do not know what to do: - I have to say that last question flummoxed me. flummoxed adjective INFORMAL - He looked completely flummoxed.

Another great review by someone who obviously knows something about Porsche products and automobiles in general. Unlike the lame report presented by UK's Autoexpress, posted on another topic.

I love the imagery Neil evokes. He combines two almost unpronouncable words, Zildjian and Husqvarna, to describe a sound that can't be vocalized. Man he is good. Good enough to have won a Pulitzer for criticism (the first for an automotive critic). See this for more on Neil.
