Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I purchased this Aqua Blue C4S last weekend. It is a single owner car purchased and serviced at the same dealership. After putting only 16K miles on it, the owner traded it in on a Jaguar F Type. I am expecting delivery sometime next week. A couple of phone pics... Options List... Looking forward to some quality time getting acquainted with the new car.

That looks sweet. Great spec. Enjoy and post your thoughts on the differences between your 997 vs 987.

POST 5Original post

Absolutely stunning 911! Nicely optioned too with the sports buckets and fantastic color. Wow.

POST 6Original post

It's not a 991, it's the revised 997, better known as the 997.2

POST 8Original post

Thanks everyone. I can't wait to drive it here in the Carolinas. The PPI checked out so I flew into O'Hare last Saturday. It hadn't snowed in a few days so the roads were clear and dry with just some patchy snow remaining in the grassy areas. This is what it looked like at O'Hare when I landed... When I got to the dealership, a few flurries had begun to fall. I hurriedly began to snap the photos above while Steve (my salesman) got the keys and opened the showroom car exit doors. It was 4 degrees outside and typically windy. The car is on summer tires so things were going to get dicey quick. The plan was to take a short trip just to make sure I liked the driving position with the sport buckets but, by the time we returned to the dealership there was 1-2 inches of frozen solid snow on the ground and I could confidently confirm the ABS, all wheel drive and traction control features of the car ALL function! :hilarious: I returned to O'Hare just a few short hours after landing and snapped this photo; The car was picked up at the dealership by the transport truck yesterday afternoon. There is a chance It may arrive here tomorrow.

Congratulations! A number of us have traveled a similar path and I'm sure you will enjoy the new ride . Please post a pic of your car in its new home. No offense to our mid-west brethren....but I'm certain NC will look better this time of year .

POST 10Original post

Today it is 27 degrees and we are expecting light snow but at 9 am this morning, at least for a little while, it was 911 degrees at the end of my driveway! The keys were left in the car which drained the battery but I got it started with a jump box. I took it out for about 40 miles through some back roads hoping to charge the battery but at 27 degrees on summer tires , I couldn't have too much fun. The car was really dirty from the trip despite the enclosed trailer other wise I would have taken more pictures.

Love the color! You will really love this car. I did a similar thing a few months ago and have not regretted it! Loved the Cayman but the 911 is pretty special. Let us know how you compare the two.
