Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

It's telescopic but it doesn't tilt (at least on mine) '99 C2. Cheers, Phil
Mine has a distance (telescopic) adjustment, but no tilt. As far as I know that's standard.
So - in and out?, but not up and down ? :?: any one know if the up and down bit was an option ?
In/out ...Yes Up/down...Have never seen one on a car and have not seen an option code number for it either TB
The seat adjusts up and down, it's just a question of relativity!
It's more a question of "Why are you asking?" :?:
+1
 A collegue in HK was telling me the other day about those Chinese sorts that have their legs extended so they feel more "western" (along with eye and tongue surgery)and i was concerned that if one of them had a 996 - after the operation would they be able to move the seat back and also be able to move the wheel out to accomodate their new long legs, thus remaining comfortable and in full control at the same time. Its official then, the 996 is the only 911 that is suitable for post leg extension surgery. :thumb:
