Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a newly acquired 97 boxster in good shape that I'm slowing working over. However, I've enountered two problems what I'm looking to remedy. 1) I had removed part of the dash and the passenger seat to install some custom radio parts, and of course now the airbag light is stuck on. Any remedies short of taking it to a dealer (for which i have no warranty of course). 2) I've noticed a small (about 1/16th to an 1/8th inch) gap behind the driver window when I close the convertible top. It looks like the mechanics isnt pullnig the fabric foward far enough (or it is snagged slightly on something). Again, a fix on this other than taking it into the shop? Thanks!
