Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

This routes into the hatch. I can't seem to find the mating connector. I am sure it is tucked away somewhere. Anybody help point me before I start tearing apart stuff? Thanks!

POST 3Original post

More interested in where its pal might be located. AKA, where the interconnect occurs. The parts diagram doesn't really show that

POST 4Original post

Looking up the part number would give you a name that describes what it does or where it goes. That would be big clue where to look for it's mate. PET catalog has the wiring harnesses. For example: 987 612 670 XX (wiring harness rear deck lid) would indicate it is the related to the harness going into the rear deck lid at the upper driver's-side of the deck lid hatch. Also, there's a wiring diagram in the archives that could verify the connector by the wire colors.

Thanks RS. Agree, that is correct (btw). I know exactly what it does. Just can't find the connector it is supposed to mate to. The wiring diagrams don't always show those intermediary connectors.
