Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The seats in my C2 arr ruffled leather and are a little saggy where the lather has settled over the years. I'm wondering if I could get the bases and backs removed and re trimmed in standard leather without too much of a drama. The main body of the seats are in excellent condition with little or no wear to the bolsters etc, so it make more sense to re trim rather than swap out completely?

I've been looking at this lot over in the US, if you are handy with that kind of thing: https://www.lseat.com/products/1998-2004-porsche-911-996-custom-real-leather-seat-covers-front.html Price seems good, and the US Porsche forums seem to rave about them.
