Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 3Original post

I too want to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. I would also like to make an observation. Throughout our lives, there are certain years that stand out because they are marked by a significant event. There are the obvious significant events, like your birthday, wedding, etc... On rare occassions a car can be an event that makes you remember a certain year. For me it was 1974, the year I bought my first BMW, model 2002. This was a time that BMW was not a household name, and few knew what was behind a little car that looked like something your grandmother would drive. That is until they got behind the wheel of a manual transmission baby and fell in love with it. It was a time when owners of a BMW were diehard car enthusiests and acknowledged other owners by blinking their lights during ecounters. I believe that for me, 2006 will be marked by my purchase of the Cayman S, the same way 1974 is markded by my 2002. A significant event. One that will make 2006 a memorable year in our lives. And yes, I will flash my lights each time I encounter another one./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/beer2.gif
