If I could ever figure out what color colbalt blue is I might give it a shot. I think it is one of those colors that you get your money's worth since it gives off different hues under different lighting.

I think only the midnight blue could ever go purple - and only then if under Mercury Vapor lighting - so not to worry RussK. I do like the Midnight blue, but then again I do like a deep metallic purple color. Purple is not a good color for resale in the US though. And it would have to be a special order color anyway.

I'd call it Electic BlueSilver Metallic. I think that's my favorite color, I painted one of my motorcycles black and that color. The new Nissan Zs are pretty common in that color, my cousin has one, and they look good. Thiscar had to be silver for me, but when I trade it in ona 998, itwill be Cobalt onsome flavor of gray.

K-Man Sculpture, I like purple to on plums, but not on my Cayman please. The Lapis Blue has some shading of blue/purple to it, and that was the only reason I went with the cobalt, the lapis was a lot less $$$. Aloha Russ
