Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6058&item=4599105562&sspagename=STRK%3AMEFM%3ASI%3AIT I guess I'm having some trouble believing this. Wonder if the bidder understands he is offering $10,000 for the right to buy the car not the car?

POST 2Original post

That is hard to believe, what about the Black one that K-Man has mentioned here, that is ready to go. Someone should put that up on ebay. 10K just for the right to bid? Something is not right there. Russ

POST 3Original post

Really strange. The user ID with the $10,100bid hasn't won anything since 7 / 2004.........maybe the user ID has been hijacked or he doesn't care about its future and won't go through with the Cayman. There is a bid for $10kby what looks like a legit bidder though.......strange again. You never know though. I know of plenty of owners of highline cars that don't have a clue to what's going on in the market place.......some of them would fall for this in a moment.

POST 4Original post

On E-Bay, Riverhead Bay motors in N.Y. is offering a Basalt Black Cayman for sale at $67k to be picked up onJan. 14th. Ad says it's in stock now.

POST 5Original post

AzCayman, That doesn't make much sense to me either. With the demand as high as we think it is, and dealers with a 10 to 15 deep wait list, how can that car or the one that K-Man mentioned still be available? Russ

POST 6Original post

Shoot, I might give up my car for the $10,000 bid JUST for the spot....

POST 7Original post

Look like some fraud or crazy retracted bids happened. Now I see it is back to $1,000 which is the starting bid, with 17 hours to go.

POST 8Original post

Looks like someone is trying to get some Z06 premiums on the Cayman S as we count down to the North American launch date.

POST 9Original post

The guy must have hit an extra zero by mistake? I am not sure if I would give up my car for the 10K, I guess I would if I could pick up the Black on Black that K-Man's dealer has. Russ

POST 10Original post

Except that I would not want the black on black so I will just let the $$$$ go and keep the beauty I ordered...

POST 11Original post

Yes Chuck, I figure by now my Cayman and I have been through too much together for anything to come between us. Come to papa!!!/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/heart.gif
