I suspect it would be a lot bigger than will fit easily. At the same time, I also suspect it would be foldable so that it would work. Cheap enough to give it a try. You could always return it.

A towel works fine in a Boxster . There isn't a lot to protect when the two engine covers are removed.

Seats all the way forward, multiple towels only for this usage and careful personal body placement throughout the repair, with care to avoid the seat backs is how I do it

A furniture moving blanket is nicely padded and covers a very large area.
