Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Ok. Finally decided and bought 911 Turbo. It is 2007 997 tiptronic with almost all options possible (ceramic breaks, pcm , sport chrono , lots of leather and so on). It has about 20 000 miles. I like the car, it is quite comfortable (even more than my previous Cayman) at low speeds and of course has very powerful engine. What i don't like is the sound of 911. It sounds like a truck Yet i haven't driven it much, so can't say more. Later.

POST 2Original post

Nicely optioned, sir. That's a beauty turbo that'll keep you pressed to your seat.

POST 3Original post

Thanks. It is fast. But can't say that it is a better car (all in all) than Cayman.

POST 4Original post

Just a different car. I've never driven a car more fun than my old Cayman. But that Turbo will be a joy to drive. The Tip version was actually faster than the Manual in the 997, so you've got the right set up. Enjoy.

POST 5Original post

I've been looking for manual actually. But it's very rare to see Manual Turbo here in Russia. So i've bought Tiptronic version. Years ago i was very lucky to find Cayman Manual ;-)

POST 6Original post

Nice car congrats! I used to have an 07 CS and now an 08 turbo and I gotta say I think I prefer the turbo actually. So much power and fun!
