Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I recently noticed my rear spoiler indicator light coming on. The owner's manual states that my rear spoiler is not extending fully or not working properly. At 75 mph, my spoiler is coming up, but also my indicator light is also coming on. It is not coming back down when I slow to under 50 mph. It is still extended when I come to a stop. I can still raise and lower the spoiler with the manual switch. Anyone have a similar problem that can give me some insight on what might be the problem. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

I've had the same problem appear. no idea why and the few Porsche mechanics I talked to weren't sure. I since then extended the spoiler and removed the whole motor assembly. Now I know why the light is on! ;-)
