Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What kinds of issues was your Cayman experiencing?
it wasn't a 911. :taunt:
Hahaha. Enjoy your new ride
Be ready for the Boxster/Cayman folks to tell you how wrong your choice is - engine in wrong place, too fat, not a sports car etc...In the meantime, ignore them and enjoy the wonderful car you purchased.
...dont forget to add that the 981 looks like a lot better!:hilarious:
All kidding aside, the 981 is a beautiful car. I happen to like the 991 better but that's why there are different cars for different folks. I came very close to buying a 981CS rather than the 991 but finding a CPO 991 with 3K mikes and only a 9K difference from the 981 sealed the deal for me. I do agree with the rear end treatment on the 981, I think the Boxster looks a lot better than the Cayman. Enjoy.
Same deal here. i drove an 07 Cayman S for 7 years. Bought new. Borla pipes and a few other mods. Except for the infamous trunk clunk the car was totally issue free. Possibly my best car ever. Put everything back to stock and got very nice price when I sold it. After driving several choices I ended up with a 2010 911 C2S conv. Triple black- 118k sticker when new, 2500 miles absolutely a new car-killer deal. After putting another 1100 miles on it I absolutely love it. With this in mind, I will say that the Cayman is a better handling drivers car. I miss it. There is a definite learning curve going from a Cayman to a 911.I plan to keep the 911 for about 3 years and jump up to a turbo S cab or a GT3. Bottom line is as previously stated, they are all great. I have owned all of the luxury brands except for a Jag and I firmly believe that Porsche is making the best cars in the world at present. The quality is noticeably better than my AMG Benz IMO. Enjoy your your new ride and let the comments go by. Sorry you had issues with your Cayman
