Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, Looking to fit grills behind the two outer orifices in the front of my 986 Boxster S (2004 model).. I'm getting conflicting info. Do these horizontal slats pull out or is it necessary to remove the bumper. Obviously removing the bumper will allow better access to the radiators.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just to confirm, yes they do detach. Makes access to the rads easier to clean out, vacuum cleaner and a blow gun from the compressor to dislodge the leaves. Ne grills fixed in behind now.

POST 4Original post

You should separate the condenser and rad because most of the debris is at the rear part wedged between the 2.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
