Hello, I thought I'd wash the car today, so first off were the wheels. Now I have a question. My wheels are (so said the salesman) GT3 alloy. The Part numbers on them are: 996.362.136.02 - 8Jx18H2-ET50 - Front 996.362.142.02 - 11Jx18H2-ET45 - Rear They also say Made in Italy? :dont know: Have I got Genuine Porsche 996 GT3 Wheels or some cheap aftermarket copies? I was expecting Made in Germany?? :? Thanks, James.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

IMO these are genuine, almost all Porsche wheels have the part numbers and this pretty much guarantees they are genuine. Those numbers AFAIK mean you do actually have the real GT3 Mk2 wheels, most NB 996 owners have 10x18" ET65 rears, WB C4S & Turbo have 11x18" ET45. You should also have a small upside down triangle with a 'P' inside which is like a Porsche kitemark, together with a few other tell tale markings. Porsche wheels are mostly made in Germany, Italy, Poland and Austria.
