Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My buddy tried to close the roof without pulling the hand brake several times off course without success . now there is no dash indicator light for hand brake even if i pull it to the maximum and as a result roof cant be closed any ideas what might have gone wrong and is there a way to close it manually i don't have owners manual

POST 2Original post

There is a small plunger switch under the handbrake which turns the brake light on and off, as well as enabling the top to function. It can get dirty and stick. A little cleaning and some graphite should get it working again.

POST 3Original post

make sure the little red clip has benn removed also! And WELCOME!!!
