Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I have read alot of groups re possible flashes and how people believe s/c is an essential option. But, has anyone actually done a flash on their non sport chrono car to get the more aggressive mapping/throttle response? What is your experience? What supplier did you use? Warranty issues? Thanks,

POST 2Original post

No one has been able to enable S/C through factory means. You can get enhanced throttle control maps through aftermarket programming, but not exactly Sport Chrono. Try searching for 'Sport Chrono Upgrade'.

POST 3Original post

Thanks Gator. I saw that factory retro fit was not in the cards. But, I thought that a sufficient number of enthusiasts with non s/c cars are out there and wishing they had ordered s/c that some may have actually done a flash to approximate or exceed the benfits of s/c on a full time basis (since they have no 'button') Anyone? Thanks,
