Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, There seem to be a few high mileage C4s's about that represent good value. Is there anything in particular that I should be looking for? Thanks, Tomson :?:

POST 2Original post

Don't know if I would really class it as high mileage but my 2003 C4S has done 66000 miles now. I haven't had any major issues with it-like any car it just needs regular maintenance and an owner who pays attention to warming it up to operating temperature. My theory is that sometimes lower mileage garage queens have more underlying issues generated through lack of use. For example my wife had a MINI that was 6 years old had only done 20000 miles and was forever in and out of the garage with pretty major problems-oil leaks, auto gearbox failure, steering rack failure. Friday afternoon car? Possibly.
