Hi Everyone I was wondering if I could call on your help once more? Some nice person has seen it fit to forcefully push one of the roof rack flaps in on my car..........which I must say I thought was very nice of them! :cop: Now when I try and flip it back into place its lower than the roof line and doesn't look right at all! In fact its really really bugging me :hand: Can anyone help........can you take them off or alter them in anyway, without breaking them?????? Regards Lee

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

the whole strip is easily removed by pulling up at one end and working along, you should then be able to push the roof rack slot back in place from underneath. clean out the muck that collects in the valley while you are at it. TB
The flaps clip in to a white plastic holder under the roof strip. They are fairly brittle and break easily, so you might want to get a couple before you start. Part number 996.559.729.00 @£2.21 each.
Thanks once again guys for the advice.......don't know what I'd do without you! :thumb: Lee
