Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The Pcars guys have asked me to invite some of the you who are locals to join them at this Wednesday Night Coffee Social in Alhambra around 8pm. Location is Starbucks Coffee at 1190 S. Fremont Ave in Alhambra, California. Everyone is invited even if you don't have your Pcar with you. More info: http://www.pcars.us/viewtopic.php?t=2045 Pix from their Jan 3rd meet:

POST 2Original post

Man it looks like all the P-car meets are in Southern Cali, wish there were more here in Nor Cal.

POST 3Original post

I can make it, Its about 32 minutes from where I live. Geez its going to be cold, the boxster told it was 36 degrees outside on the way to work this morning.

POST 4Original post

CJ - - are you going for sure? I live about 15 minutes away from there and was thinking of stopping by. Ever been to one of those before?

POST 5Original post

Yes forsure im going, Ill bring my GF with me, I have never been to one of those. If you want, you can PM and since we know eachother here, we can team up and not look like loners... i dont know how the other p-car owners are as far as attitude and arrogance so its good to clic up quick.

POST 6Original post

Hmm...I live about 10 minutes away. I wonder if I should go too.... Kinda intimidating though that all the other cars on that picture are 911's and newer boxsters. Oh well.

POST 7Original post

Yeah, intimidating for me too, that was the first thing i thought when i seen that picture of all those more expensive pcars... Oh well, I just hope the people are nice no matter what model my porsche is. So what do you say, you going or not sure yet?

POST 8Original post

I'll try to convince my gf to come along. I would really like to go and meet all you great folks!

POST 9Original post

Good, Let me know if your going and maybe some kinda way for me to know who you are in the crowd

POST 11Original post

I agree with you, blink! we should plan one....

POST 12Original post

If anyone goes to the porsche meet from this forum, a way you can tell who i am, Ill be the only Lapis Blue porsche with a Post-It note on the front bumper near the scratches someone left while parking... the note will say "Thank you may I have another"

POST 13Original post

I'm in. Truth be told, I'm a little apprehensive but I think it would be a great opportunity for us 986/987 owners to meet. I

POST 14Original post

Yes, thats the way i feel, im not too crazy about meeting the 996 and 997 owners but would be nice to put names to faces for people on this forum!

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

guys, don't be intimidated by some of cars. the group on the last meet had no attitude, just friendly car guys and gals chic chatting over coffee. they talked about their mods and admired others. as you can see from last meet, there were three Boxsters from '98 to '06.

POST 17Original post

About a 20min drive for me....How long is everyone there for?

POST 18Original post

I plan to be at the event for the entire time.

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
