Is it just me or have others recognized a deciced shift in articles from 'hard top boxster' to 'Porsche classic'? I realize this car is special to us, but will it be a near-legend? Can there be 'near legends' in this day and age?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It will become a legend when Porsche offers LSD, 350 HP and no AC.
mpollard, That would be one HOT car! Russ
As long as you could pay for AC or Climate as an option, I'd put my order in for a 350 bhp LSD Cayman today!
Surely that's what BMW did with the E46 M3 when they released the CSL. They upped power/brakes/carbon stuff etc n stripped out the rest, but it was waaaay overpriced, people had probs w/ ride and such. Then its value dropped greatly when BMW increased its production numbers. Porsche will have to be careful i reckon, but then again, with the GT3 and RS versions they have already made w/ 911, i'm sure they know what they're doing.
Two days after taking delivery I was searching the net for details of an RS. The car is so capable that an RS would be the best porsche...possibly ever. I've seen articles that suggest people have seen and more importantly 'heard' porschetesting one on the track. In terms of pricing strategy I think they can do it. It can only be as difficult as pricing the Cayman (non-S) - what will they do with that? Price it between the Boxter and the S? Therefore price a Cayman RS between the Carerra and the Carerra S!
