Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I ordered it for the fun of it - does anyone know where in the car it is installed?

POST 2Original post

I believe it is in front of the drivers seat. At least that is where it was on a Boxster I saw. Makes the footwell a tiny bit smaller I suppose.

POST 3Original post

From the car 'configurator: at porsche.com: DIN EN3-compliant powder-based system containing 1 kg of extinguishant; stows neatly beneath drivers seat... brad

POST 4Original post

Your right. There's a huge amount of space in there, I checked myself (when I saw the Cayman in the sheetmetal)

POST 5Original post

Perhaps because I had to push the seat all the way back on the 2005 Boxster I drove the f.e. was totaly exposed right under my legs. It wasn't under anything at that point. Perhaps it fits differently now or depends on the seats position?
