Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

And by 'these' I mean the additional air scoops on top of the rear decklid that that guide air into engine compartment... (spoiler handily removed on this 997 to show what I mean!)

POST 2Original post

Yes I have these on the 996 GT3 RS they are called Arm Air Ducts. Cheers Pocty

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks pocty. Were they just on the GT3 RS, or GT3 (1 & 2) as well?

POST 4Original post

Just on the RS as far as I know. But a mate of mine has bought some for his GT3 he's on this forum called DasChin. I'll ask him where he got them from ....The RS has ram air ducts on the engine bay which force air into the intake with 18Mb of pressure at 187 mph (301 km/h) and this is enough to create an additional 15 bhp (11 kW; 15 PS). That extra bhp cannot be homologated since the official engine output figures are certified on a dyno. ...Copied from mcpmotorsport. Cheers Pocty

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Awesome. Many thanks. If you can get that info from your mate, that'd be great.
