Probably by charging huge amounts for each one, I'd guesss. If the punters like them I can see them making more - they were going to resstrict the F40 to 50 and ended up making 400-odd, remember.

What's so 'un-thoroughbred' about a Porsche? Porsche, Ferrari, Lotus, TVR etc could all be described as 'thoroughbreds' as they're all pretty much bespoke, competition-inspired, handbuilt cars.
