Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

22 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I still cant decide between Platinum and Black. Storing them is a pain so I may, I say may!, sell one set, but cant decide which. Both are as new. If I keep the black I need to put new tyres on as the original Pirelli’s are still on them and despite having loads of tread, are now 8 years old.

POST 4Original post

V nice looking Cayman. Definitely the platinum ones, suit the cars shape much better.

POST 5Original post

Platinum all the way. I hate black wheels though and my Cayman has platinum so I'm a bit biased. The platinum finish also ties in with your door decals.

POST 8Original post

I am going to go against the consensus and say bla… No can’t do it. Platinum

POST 12Original post

Of the two platinum. But if there's a chance of repainting, I think aurum goes well with black.

POST 19Original post

I’d be tempted with the black if it was satin, but less sold on the gloss ones.

POST 21Original post

Platinum! Wish I'd stuck to my guns and not fallen for the OPC SE said: "Black details are a signature item on GTS models Sir...."
