Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi fellow Porsche people. A little help needed. I am thinking of delving into the world of the classic Porsche. Does anyone in the community know anything about this vehicle or seen it in person. https://www.facebook.com/share/oxZVwmmzTtmVqLQg/ Peter

POST 2Original post

Hi Peter, I don't know the car at all, from the photos it looks tidy and I don't mind the brown.  Was particularly impressed with the interior.... car has had some good love somewhere along the line.  Little concerned about the overspray on the radiator mount ... suggest the paint correction may not be to the highest standard.  I think the challenge with the car is that the S4 body kit removes it from contention of anyone wanting an early style 928, yet it's old and slow for anyone who would prefers the S4 shape ... and for not much more money you could just buy an S4. So unless you want the S4 shape with the older style engine (at which stage I'd be looking at a later 4 speed with a S4 kit), it's kind of a car without a natural buyer.  If purchased, when the times comes to sell you'd need to find a buyer who was also not phased.
