I just bought my '99 996 and the warranty will expire June 3 of this year. I am comfortable with the mechanical condition of the car right now, but was NOT presented with full records when I bought the car. Therefore, I do not know which TSBs were (and more importantly, were not) performed in the past. Can I simply take the car to the dealer and ask them to check everything? Is there a TSB complete list I can work from to do a preliminary check myself? Finally, do these need to be completed before the warranty is up? Sorry for all the questions, but I'd just like to make sure I don't miss anything before the warranty goes out in two weeks (while we're at it, are there any other stand out problems I should have looked at before warr is up?). Again, many thanks...

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
