Hi A couple of times when braking from moderate speed - 50mph ish - with the brakes warmed up, I have had a very odd sensation where there is what sounds like a mechanical thunk, the brakes lose some grip and the pedal depressesvery slightly (almost like the feel of ABS cutting in) an I have to give some more pressure on the pedal to bleed off speed. I don't think it is ABS, as on no occasion have I been braking particularly sharply. I know the TT brakes aren't particularly great (from what I've read here), and my rear discs have some grooving, but the sensation is pretty unsettling, almost as if the brakes are going to fail. My previous Porsche was a Boxster S, which I found had exemplary brakes, so I was expecting more of the same. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Semi-seized caliper that is suddenly un-seizing maybe? That would cause a sudden drop in brake pressure.
