Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Went to put the roof down on my C4S today and as it started lifting up I heard a funny noise, and looked round (all this happened in seconds as it doesnt take long for the roof to go down anyway) and the roof/boot/light panel had lifted up on the drivers side only but the roof was still trying to move into the space where the light panel was supposed to lift up from(not sure what that panel is called). Immediately let go of the roof button as soon as I saw what was happening and put the roof back the other way (ie the roof back up). Totally gutted to get out and inspect that the light panel to see it has two dents in it from bending under the pressure of the roof trying get into the space and the side of the light panel is now sticking out slightly. Taking it to the Porsche specialist at the weekend, but any thoughts anyone, has this happened to anyone on the forum. Was working fine yesterday etc, it's not that it hasn't been down for months or something like that. Thanks.
