Ok well heres the deal. I will be getting a porsche cayman in about a month or 2. I would really like to have a good Subwoofer that can fit in my car. I would also like to have XM radio in my car and an iPod. So what do you suggest i should get. I've been looking at the Alpine Subs 10' type X but I dont know if thats too big and too loud that it might affect the car? I just saw the Pioneer shallow 12' but i really need advice on what subs i should get. Price doesnt really quite matter but if anything is cheaper out there it would help. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Also advice on an AMP! THANKS!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Any suggestions?
Karod, You have to remember, the interior dimensions of this car really limit the soundstage, so tuning the sound is important with delays that in effect make the inside of the car seem bigger. The alpine w505 and the imprint unit worked nicely to overcome that problem in my 911. You probably wont need an awful lot of power for this car, I hear the new Alpine 5 channel is nice and that would power everything sufficiently. I put in a single JBL 10" sub and that was plenty of bottom for me but it really depends on your taste. My suggestion is to get car, be patient and understand what you are working with and then plot out a plan that works for your tastes and stick to it. There are so many choices that can make you over think this. Find a great installer and leave the details to them. Joe D.
OK thanks. Ima just wait till I get it and see what subs fit me best...Thanks for the advice.
