I have a 2009 Cayenne with the power boot / tailgate lift operated by hydraulic ram with the pump in the rear passenger side quarter. one of the hydraulic lines has broken free of the fitting at the ram ... porsche only sell the ram, lines and pump as single part (around $2.5k) - Does anyone know of a source for replacement hydraulic lines between pump and ram ? Cheers

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Baz, I spoke to son James who runs the parts division at AutoHaus Hamilton. He looked it up and advises that it is only available as you say, in a complete unit, only from Porsche and he confirmed the price you quoted. He advises that if you're a member of the Porsche club you 'might' get something off the price.
On that basis of $$, there are a number of Cayennes of that ilk being wrecked, possibly Macan may fit too?? Might be worth exploring whether you could even just buy the ram from one of the wreckers???
