Folks, I am getting a free exhaust race header ( no CATS) from a Gen 1 987. My cayman is a GEN2 987. Would this header from past fit in mine? i know the CEL would trigger on cause of the CAT less, but 02 spacers would be installed as well to try and eliminate the possibility of that.
They would not fit. The flanges are different and o2 bungs are in different locations. Notice the header flange on 987.1: VS 987.2 with "Batman" flange: If you do need a set of 987.2 headers, we're happy to help!
Thanks for the clarification. And yes i am looking for race headers , but the Soul or Fabspeed , as pretty as they are, are off the budget now. Guess the stock headers are gonna be de-catted and re-welded. Should get a few ponies more
