Where should I buy aftermarket exhaust tips? I'd like oem, or oem lookalikes, but dont want to spend $600 for them, or even near that. Any help?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

That is a gorgeous car, man! As for the tips, check out: http://www.carnewal-europe.com/main.htm They have the OEM models for 480.00 (~$550, not a lot cheaper but cheaper nonetheless). -Paul

Any recommendations?
I'm not sure if they're attached the same way (haven't had a good look) but... One of my customers purchased an 02 Coupe from me last summer. The tips just bolt on to that car. He took them off and ahd them polished for $65 CDN. Just polishing the tips made a huge difference. I'm not sure if the tips on the 99-01 996s are removeable though.

I may hit up a muffler shop tonight to see if anyone has anything that would look good.
