Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

She has covered over 63K now and I have noticed that the paint on the callipers is failing in certain areas, any thoughts anyone as to the best way to get this sorted. Any advice would be a great help M :worship:

POST 2Original post

I think the calipers have been stove enamelled which means a 'paint job' won't match properly as paint is not as thick. I may be wrong here - but I also have a few chips in mine but I'm pretty sure it is enamel and they therefore would need stripping back and refurbing??

POST 3Original post

I just had mine done, on the rear only £225 each 1 years warrenty. This was a good call as one side was already seized. Refitted them last week plus new pads. As off to LeMans next month small service and once over in two weeks time. Come back them MOT time, should be ok only done less than 2000 miles since last one.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

see ya who did them for you? m

POST 5Original post

My fronts need doing on the turbo. Although that said I may have a issue with the bleed valves being seized so they may get done at the same time, depending on whether my attempt to free them in a few weeks doesn't go well, lol. Anyway, here's a useful link for you http://www.design911.co.uk/pages/advancedSearch.aspx?search=brake+paint Jim
