Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

What could this be? I even think Im just imagining that but at times clutch travel seems longer than other times. Cayman S 2006 15,000 miles

POST 2Original post

what type of shoes are your wearing?....no seriously...I actually feel a difference if I'm in loafers or sneakers. In my sneaks I feel as if the throw is shorter because the rubber on my sole is thicker.

POST 3Original post

sneakers but the feeling of change is in the same driving session

POST 4Original post

I tend to think this from time to time as well. I guess it would also depend on the gear. 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 are a longer throw than 4 to 5 to 6, so you'd have to adjust you're clutch response accordingly. I doubt were talking about large differences in temperature here, since you're saying it's in the same trip and it's summer, but that usually affects the clutch as well. I've been told by the dealer my clutch is stiff (under 30K on the odo), but I have nothing to judge it against. If it's not slipping, It's prolly in our heads :taunt:
