Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

What are people getting in the real world ?

Over over under steer said: 2022 Macan S average 2mpg mixed driving I hope not . (Obviously a mistype)

POST 4Original post

My 2019 model Cayenne S (the twin turbo 2.9 V6) has averaged 26mpg over 28,000 miles from new. Early on, it would struggle to ever get above 30mpg, but as the engine loosened up after 10k miles it now returns 32-33mpg on a long motorway trip, or low to mid 20s around town. Even with a roof box and a family's worth of bikes on the back, it did 27mpg on a round trip to the alps last year. Not great, but not bad when you consider it's a 2+ tonne SUV with 440hp.
