Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This tyre has only clocked up about 3500 miles, but I fear it's for the bin, due to the location of the nail. Can anyone confirm?

POST 2Original post

It can, but not at your standard place, needs reinforcing, I binned one recently that had the same

POST 3Original post

You will be very lucky if you can find anyone to repair that. I personally wouldn't have it done even if I could find someone to do it.

POST 4Original post

That's in the side wall not across the tread so, as I understand, is not repairable.

POST 6Original post

just had to replace one of my rear tyres with 6.9mm still on it. same problem
