Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have just noticed that the plastic window in my Cabriolet has a zip on it does that mean it can be removed and replaced if not what is the zip actually for? I don`t fancy trying the zip in case it all falls out being 20 years old now. * * Del.

POST 4Original post

Step away from the zip, the zip is a very bad thing, NEVER unzip the zip, as Alex Yates will testify, do not touch the zip as it has powers that will blow your mind  It`s actually how the window is permanently installed, if you unzip it you will struggle for the rest of your life to get the window back in

POST 5Original post

 It's actually just how the internal liner fastens to the soft top round the window. The window is permanently bonded in the soft top. Do not mess with it.

POST 6Original post

:yeah: Step away from the Zip .. do not touch .. do not pass go .. move along now people .. nothing to see here ................ nothing ! Inner lining basically .

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
