Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I own a 2007 Cayman S with about 70k miles (purchased as a certified pre-owned in late 2010) and just found out the head is leaking. I heard this is a known issue and wanted to see if any fellow owners have received even partial reimbursement from Porsche to have the problem corrected (It is going to be about $11k because of the machine work required). I only enter in about 4 DE events per year, so the engine is not extremely stressed. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
