Hello fellow enthusiast, I get a flashing CEL about 20 seconds after i start my 06 boxster s every morning. Upon doing a fault code scan the following errors are displayed; P0300 P0301 P0303 From what ive researched so far it is somesort of misfire but the car doesnt feel like its missing. Now if i ignore it and wait another 1 minute or so or just start driving the CEL stops flashing and just disappears? The car has been doing this since yesterday & nothing new has changed. Had a porsche service 1000km ago, oil filter, aos, air filter, tranw filter where all changed. Spark plugs are less than 4000km old. Please advise onto what direction i should start my trouble shooting. Thanks & regards, J.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I was told that a flashing CEL requires immediate attention, whereas a solid one accompanied by "driving permitted" can wait until you can get to a shop. Does the flashing CEL go away, or turn into a constant light? Is it accompanied by any warning message?
could it be the coils?
Do NOT continue to drive the car with a flashing CEL. Take the car in/fix the misfires before you do damage. Don't take the risk.
Hi all, The flashing cel disappears after 1 minute from cold startup. If i acknowledge the error with the toggle stick on the car it becomes a solid light. And as mentioned it disappears completely after 1 minute. Because it goes away ive read that it is not a full error but a pending error? Ill try to record it and post the video up later.
Ok, ive tried to record the cel on a cold startup but as usual these things dont happen when your trying to record stuff so today no CEL which is good but ironically annoying as i wanted to record it.
It seems to me that you are rationalizing not taking any action. As stated by other posters on this thread, the prudent action is to have it checked out immediately. I don't see any downside with this course of action, other than a loss of time on your part.
