I found one in each drain screen just laying loose whilst doing the AOS, I don't know what they are or what they do, some sort of drain tubes.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

There was a similar post about a month or so ago, and I can’t remember if it was here or one of the other P car forms, but on a 981. if I recall correctly, the owner had opened up the plastic side panel where the intake vents are in order to remove debris that had been sucked into the intake fan He found similar objects as those that had come loose off the ends of the drain tubes that were behind the panel. If I recall, he said they appear to be some sort of one-way valve on the end of the drain that was no longer attached to the drain tube. Not sure if this is even in the ballpark for what you found, but sounds and looks quite similar to what I recall from his post
