There are a lot of rumors about when the 997 is coming out but I can't see how it can be anytime soon. According to the majority of the gossip people are saying it's gonna be a 2005 model year which means July/August 2004. But if that where true there would be people still waiting for the delivery of their 996 at that time...no? For example I have a friend who ordered an 'orange' C4S and there is a one year wait for it...and the GT3 isn't even on the road yet. Would Porsche do that? Imagine waiting for a car that would be the old model before it came to the dealer.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

How can the 997 come out when they are still rolling out new models?? -Lou
