Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

There's been some discussion as to whether PSE increases power... When I had PSE installed, the increased exhaust note definately made my car *feel* faster I did notice that simulating the exhaust sound yourself while shifting gears (like this!) also makes the car feel faster--probably adds 10 - 15 hp !!!!

But because of the extra sound raising the adrenaline and heart rate, it should be good for at least a half second a lap, and probably more. Since there are still cats in the line you don't necessarily need earplugs, though some drivers do so at this point to protect their hearing. If PCNA claimed a power increase, my instinct tells me they would have to re-certify the engine with US Feds for emissions, mileage, who knows what else. But I really don't profess to know the in's and out's of that particular game. Joel Reiser - PCA WebSite - 2/26/2003

I don't think it's from a motorcycle. Here's the first place I saw it. This is funny... http://butifnot.tripod.com/racecar.html
