Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

23 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Some of you may have seen this video already but for those who have not it is a great video. I cannot understand a thing that is being said but the Cayman S appears to perform exceptionally well. http://www.autoclips.net/detail.php?id_video=3303 If you type it out, make sure you underscore after id_video=3303. I got nothing but a corrupt zip file message everytime I try to download

POST 4Original post

I had to try a couple times, but it eventually worked....

POST 5Original post

Thanks for the link. It was interesting watching the difference in how the two cars took the tight S bends. That added stability in the 987 platform is what made up my mind when I drove the Boxster S and Carrera.

POST 6Original post

Can someone re-upload this file because I've tried over and over and the download just doesn't work, it starts downloading ok, but then after about 10% it just finishes and leaves me with a corrupt zip file. Edited by - markwm on 01/06/2006 07:01:45 AM

POST 7Original post

I would re-upload the file here but like you every time I try to download it I get a corrupted ZIP file as well. How big is the true ZIP file in MB size? If it isn't too big someone could email it to me.

POST 8Original post

Thanks, That was great. I love the opening when the Cayman comes out of nowhere and dashes in front of the 911. Russ

POST 9Original post

doesn't work for me either! would love to see it though, if someone else could download and host it.

POST 10Original post

That is a fantastic video! Thanks. Love the way the Cayman rips in front of the 911. Guys - you need to hit download and save it over broadband to you disk. What I could make out was that 60-0 (breaking) the Cayman and 911 are exactly the same and 0-60 the 911 was fractionally faster. I wish I could drive mine like that guy!

POST 11Original post

Every time I try to download it finishes prematurely (bad habit to have I guess!) the most I got to download was 18mb out of 28mb so as soon as I can get the whole thing to download I will host it here. Someone could burn it to a CD and send it to me and I would host it as well.

POST 13Original post

If there's a place to put it, I'll send it there....

POST 14Original post

Finally got it on the eight download. Here is some english to accompany the video: http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.auto-motor-und-sport.de%2Fd%2F98272&langpair=de%7Cen&hl=en&safe=off&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&prev=%2Flanguage_tools Edited by - mpollard on 01/06/2006 8:29:18 PM

POST 15Original post

I must have tried 20-30 downloads with no luck...

POST 16Original post

I kept on rewinding around the 22 second mark - it is nice to see that Cayman do a power slide right in front of the 911 ( and a nice slide at that ) /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbsup.gif Note for K-Man - I used Mozilla and it can restart the previous download - it took me only two attempts, and the second one started where the first one failed. POST 18Original post

mpollard, How do you find this stuff? I like the look of those chrome tips! And I got caught up looking at the Simoni Car Girl! Wow! Russ

POST 19Original post

Ok I was finally able to get it to download so I have put it up in our Files section here: http://www.planet-9.com/dl_showall.asp?cat_id=32&parent_id=2&parent_name=Multimedia&sub_name=Cayman+Videos Enjoy!

POST 20Original post

Anyone who did not get side tracked with the Simoni Racing Girl, Raise your hand.

POST 21Original post

Oh yes Mpollard, German quality at its finest! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbsup.gif BTW I uploaded the Christophorus magazine article to the Files section as well in the Magazine Articles sub category.

POST 22Original post

Ken, That was way too subtle, announcing the availability ofthe Christophorus article like that. And in answer to MotoCayman, this car looks good in any color - even green:

POST 23Original post

Hey feel free to start another thread on the Christophorus article to draw more attention to it, it was late and I was tired so I killed two birds with one stone...
