Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

thanks - i checked and could only find arctic. Can you point me in the direction of gt silver?
Its hard to tell them apart unless they are side by side. GT is a bit darker than artic with alittle more grey in it.
GT silver is much richer than Artic. It's like Artic with additional spakles of a hint darker gray and gold.
To be honest someone posted the paint formulas for both Artic and GT on another Porsche board.......they are just different formulas with GT having more grey in it.......nothing really special about it. I believe the metallic content and type is the same also. GT is a great color......butits just the same paint as all the other colors.......but with a higher price tag. I've seen them side by side and they are just different shades of silver. IfGT does 'it' for you.....thenby all means go with it!
The Price is another thing the Gt color is much more expensive then the Artic
sorry should have been more specific, there are actually some GT Silver photos in the Artic silver section, as wel as in the Ibiza launch photos. As others have already said it just is a little darker with a little more grey than Arctic silver. Best to go to your local dealer and see them side by side if you can.
thanks guys. it think the appeak to me is just the name and the fact its the same color as the carrera gt. Im sticking with forest green.
If you are considering a silver for your car, there's another silver that Porsche offers, although I'm not sure what the price tag is, called Polar Silver, which has beautiful undertones of blue in it. It was offered on 993s as an option. brad
thanks for the info. i think im sticking with green. so many silver cars around at the moment.
