I read on another Cayman board (just trying to cover all the info=bases) of a couple of non-engine related noise issues coming from the rear deck area. Has anyone here noticed that? Anything else annoying? I've got those last-minute-pre-order-jitters!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

As I have said before......it's a hatch design......sooner or later it will make anoise. Sometimes a noise will show up in winter and not in summer or vice-versa. 99.9% of them can be cured with small adjustments or seal/weatherstripping lube. I've owned 4 Porsche hatches in the past and the above was always true. Nothing to worry about IMO.
